About the Artist

Linda L. Vachon is a self-taught artist residing in Chestnut Mountain, Georgia,

a small community in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. Linda was

born and raised in upstate New York, which may be the reason she relishes

painting snow scenes and older Victorian-era homes.

With a love of vibrant color, she paints vivid, realistic paintings that

come to life with their depth and detail. Subject matter is varied but

come September and a love for all things Christmas, her paintings

take on decidedly "Holiday" themes!

Many of the Victorian homes in Linda's paintings are located in nearby

Gainesville, a town known for its historic "Green Street". If you plan to

visit the area, please give Linda a call and stop by her home studio

for a private viewing of available originals. Her paintings are on exhibit

at various art shows throughout the southeast.
